The Greater Boise Aquatic Center (GBAC) will provide an exemplary water space for the aquatic community in the Treasure Valley.  We will host swim lessons, competitive club swimming, masters swimming, water polo, high school swimming, community lap swimming, fitness classes and certification classes.

MELANIE G. RUBOCKI

Boise Office Managing Partner

Melanie Rubocki is the Head of the Corporate group for the Boise Office. With a foundation in finance and entrepreneurial studies from the Wharton School of Business, Melanie brings a business sensibility and reasonableness to her client relations and any negotiated transaction. She represents business clients through their entire life cycle, from startup formation to exit. Her approach to the client relationship is proactive, rather than reactionary – she endeavors to help clients avoid legal pitfalls and traps for the unwary.

Melanie represents clients in many industries including: automotive aftermarket, cleantech, e-commerce, energy, interactive entertainment, manufacturing, mining, retail and consumer products and software and other Web-based businesses. She regularly advises clients in relation to emerging growth company issues, entity and fund formation, and licensing and technology transfer transactions. And, she regularly advises directors and officers on corporate governance and fiduciary duty matters. Melanie has led clients in all forms and stages of equity and debt financings and has an active M&A practice, advising both buy and sell side clients on complex mergers, acquisitions and other strategic business joint venture and arrangements. She also handles certain commercial real estate transactions and general business contracts and transactions. Melanie has recently founded and currently leads the U.S. Foreign Investment Visa industry group which assists clients considering E-2 or EB-5 investment opportunities including designation as a USCIS regional center.

Ryan Stratton

CPA, ABV, CFF

As a swimmer at the University of Washington, Ryan was a Pacific-10 Conference All-American, Academic All-American, and four-year varsity letter winner. After completing his studies, Ryan was recruited by all Big 5 accounting firms and signed with PricewaterhouseCoopers, the largest personal services firm in the world. While at PwC, Ryan worked in the Personal Financial Services and Private Client Services groups. Ryan specializes in personal and business income tax and consulting; estate and financial planning; tax-exempt entity formation, taxation, and governance; other tax-specific areas; business

valuation; and financial forensics. Ryan has had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients, ranging from small corporations to individuals worth over $1 Billion.

Jeff Erwin

Boise

Jeff is a Boise, Idaho native. He graduated from Boise High in 1982 and swam for the Boise Y Swim Team. Jeff is a 4 time YMCA National Champion (1650 2x, 500 free, 400 IM), 2 time Junior National Champion (800 free, 1500 free). Swam for the University of California-Berkeley.   2 time NCAA All American in the 1650. He was a member of the United States National Team from 1986-1988. Jeff competed for Team USA in the 1986 Goodwill Games in Moscow, Russia.

Jeff also has an extensive coaching background.  He has coached summer league (Boise Racquet and Swim Club, Crane Creek) during college summers. Coached Strawberry Canyon Aquatic Masters – Berkeley, CA in 1987-1988. Coached Sawtooth Masters in Boise Idaho for 20+ years beginning in 1989. Has been an assistant coach with the Boise YMCA Swim Team off and on over the last 30 years. Coached High School (Capital High 1989, 1990), (Boise High 1998, 1999, and 2012 to present).  Jeff currently works as a self-employed CPA. He is married to his wife, Ann, with whom he shares 2 daughters, Abbey and Maggie.
